Stefania D’Amato invites children to dive into the ocean depths to meet strange creatures capable of glowing even in the darkness of the abyss. Participants will draw and create paper masks using luminescent colors, experiencing firsthand the wonder of this magical transformation.
All workshop materials are provided thanks to the support of Canson and Lyra.
Please wear clothing that can get messy and allows for easy movement.
STEFANIA D’AMATO (Brescia, 1988) is an independent atelierista and illustrator. After studying anthropology, she specialized in illustration and graphic design at ISIA Urbino. These two fields of research clearly emerge in her artistic practice, which intertwines a fantastical visual imagination with a keen observation of contemporary cultural contexts. She designs and leads creative workshops for adults and children, collaborating with Scuola Comics in Brescia, Muse Italia, Pane Blu ETS, as well as with foundations, museums, and bookshops. Since 2023, she has been part of the participatory art project “Zuhause” in Berlin. Her illustrations appear in magazines and independent publications.
