Free admission with reservation
November 27, 2025, 7:00 PM – 7:30 PM
Studio Irvine, Via della Moscova 7, Milan

Composer Dario Buccino presents a performance in which sheets of paper become instruments of the orchestra, embodying a research practice that transcends the traditional boundaries of music.
Hosted by Studio Irvine, the event offers the audience an immersive experience at the intersection of gesture, space, and sonic vibrations. The various types of paper are provided by Canson, and the metal structure on which they are installed is specially made for the occasion by Lispi and designed by Marialaura Irvine.
DARIO BUCCINO is a composer, multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, theorist, and inventor of musical instruments. His works combine composition, performance, and sound sculpture. His research is grounded in original systems of scores, mnemonic maps, and improvisation strategies. He composes for voice, traditional instruments (piano, strings, winds, guitars) and non-traditional ones (such as HN® percussion, large steel sculptures played with the whole body), as well as for electronics and everyday objects (cutlery, books).
