Sketchmob

Saturday, December 2, 2023, 3:00 p.m.
Museo di Storia Naturale, Corso Venezia 55, Milan

Sketchmob is an informal, extemporaneous gathering lasting 2 to 3 hours among drawing enthusiasts who gather in a special place to draw. Drawing is understood as a tool for looking, understanding and (re)discovering the world, and more specifically the space around us. Sketchmob is an initiative born in London in 2008 from an idea of Trevor Flynn.

On the occasion of the third edition of Milano Drawing Week (Nov. 24-Dec. 3, 2023), a widespread exhibition of modern and contemporary drawing curated by Collezione Ramo, Sketchmob Italia proposes an unprecedented visit to the Museo di Storia Naturale and the exhibition Patriarchs by Mad Meg, an artist who puts his own work on paper in dialogue with one by Giorgio de Chirico and some entomological specimens from the museum collection.

Participants, equipped with pencils, pens and notebooks, will have a free admission ticket provided by the City of Milan.

Participation is limited to 40 people and registration is required on the page sketchmob.it

The appointment with Sketchmob Italia for Milano Drawing Week is December 2, 2023 at 3 p.m. at the Museo di Storia Naturale at Corso Venezia 55 in Milan.
