class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What does drawing mean to you?<\/strong><br>Drawing is the skeletal structure of observation and a school of intimate truths. It is the mystical and mischievous work of reaching the incandescent core. Sometimes a few strokes are enough to steal the fire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What materials, techniques, and creative processes do you use when working on paper?<\/strong><br>I work with any tool or material capable of leaving a mark, not only graphite and charcoal. I add and subtract by incising, rather than erasing, wherever I deem it necessary. At times, I soften the surface using encaustic, with heated wax and pigments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Why did you choose this work from the Ramo Collection?<\/strong><br>I chose this work because I believe it has the ability to gently tame those who look at it.
