From Saturday, November 22 to Sunday, November 30, 2025, the Collezione Ramo<\/strong> presents the fifth edition of Milano Drawing Week<\/strong>, a ten-stop journey dedicated to drawing, organized in collaboration with and under the patronage of the Department of Culture of the City of Milan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For nine days, works on paper by contemporary artists and masters of the 20th century will take center stage in a series of exhibitions across museums and galleries throughout Milan\u2019s urban network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The goal is to foster dialogue between the rich artistic heritage preserved by the Collection\u2014highlighting the value of drawing by both historical and contemporary artists\u2014and the ideas that shape today\u2019s creative research. The initiative offers the public an opportunity to explore a medium that, though often less visible, unites creators from every discipline and speaks to everyone with immediacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Comprising around 800 drawings by Italian artists, the Collezione Ramo<\/strong> provides participating artists with a selection of works from the past century, inviting them to choose one as a starting point for a dialogue with their own creations on display.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Milano Drawing Week 2025 itinerary includes two civic institutions<\/strong>\u2014the Cittadella degli Archivi<\/strong> of the City of Milan and Casa degli Artisti<\/strong>\u2014alongside eight galleries<\/strong> from Milan and beyond: Artnoble Gallery, Bonvini 1909, Monica De Cardenas, UNA Galleria, Vistamare, APALAZZOGALLERY<\/strong> (from Brescia), Triangolo<\/strong> (from Cremona), and Szydlowski Gallery<\/strong> (from Warsaw).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entirely conceived and organized by the Collezione Ramo, the project also features two major exhibitions: TIMELINE 1991\u20132025<\/em><\/strong>, from the drawing archive of Vedovamazzei<\/strong>, at the Cittadella degli Archivi, and TOOMANYRECORDSS. Drawings at 33 rpm<\/em><\/strong>, a group exhibition realized in collaboration with More Projects<\/strong> at Casa degli Artisti<\/strong>. The latter will inaugurate this year\u2019s program of exhibitions and events with a festive opening evening starting at 6:30 pm<\/strong> on November 21<\/strong>, featuring a musical performance by Reeve Schumacher<\/strong> and a vinyl DJ set<\/strong> by Quite A Village<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Milano Drawing Week calendar also includes workshops, talks, and events<\/strong> that further enrich the program by exploring the infinite potential of works on paper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Milano Drawing Week Prize<\/strong> also returns, dedicated to one of the participating contemporary artists. Previous editions honored Umberto Chiodi and Nathlie Provosty. Entirely supported by Gruppo Censeo<\/strong>, the prize consists of a cash award given as an incentive for continued exploration and production in the medium of drawing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
